It’s been about two months since I began doing travel physical therapy, with my first contract in Augusta, Georgia. Bernie and I have been wanting to do this to experience different areas of the country before settling down somewhere. It’s also been nice to escape the winter this year. I am currently working at a pediatric clinic, which is certainly a different patient population, but a good learning experience. Who doesn’t like to play at work?
I had been in DeKalb since 2013, when I began attending Northern Illinois University. I took my last clinical rotation with Creative Therapeutics in February 2018 and began working there full-time following graduation. I definitely will miss the Creative community. The staff and patients always made me feel like a part of the family and I am so thankful for my time there. The photos attached are of our new house, which will make it easier moving to new locations and contracts….I feel like a giant turtle. Wish you all the best this holiday season— hope 2019 was your best year yet and 2020 is even better!
