Michael Reuland received his doctorate in physical therapy from NIU in May 2018 after completing his undergraduate education there in 2015. In 2016, he became a certified strength and conditioning specialist and passed the Functional Movement Screen level 1 course. His interest in physical therapy came through his experience in athletics, particularly basketball and volleyball, which he still plays.
Mike has experience in improving general mobility and balance skills and also training to enhance sports performance. In addition to a keen interest training athletes of all kinds, he really enjoys working with the wide range of conditions we treat at Creative Therapeutics. Our one-on-one, whole body approach to each patient’s care is a great fit for this physical therapist who relishes the process of getting to know each person and finding solutions that work for them, motivating them to make the most of their treatment and continue thriving afterward.
Mike is also an avid reader who enjoys cooking and outdoor activities of all kinds, including camping, hunting and fishing, depending on the season. He lives in DeKalb with his wife, Bernadette, and is a member of the 2019 class of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Academy.
